Flexural Behavior of 3D printed Concrete Beam with Fiber Reinforcement

چکیده
3D printing with concrete is a promising new method for rapid, low cost construction. The flexural strengths reinforced/unreinforced and printed/cast Warren trusses were tabulated the failure mechanisms reported. types of reinforcement used rebar(basalt steel), mesh (basalt aramid). effect loading geometry speed was measured basalt aramid composite, respectively. Due to expected variation in flexure between samples, it cannot be said whether small differences various tests are significant. Variation stems from microscopically uneven surface random inhomogeneities bulk tested material which act as microcrack catalyst propagator. Since beams short specimens numerical findings other studies will vary based on intended design. This paper assess performance reinforcements qualitative sense by comparing reinforcements. It found that cast tolerated deflection better but had similar strength compared printed beams. steel rebar reinforced highest where traditional outperformed 36% 40%. unreinforced bars margin only 25% rebars’ at maximum strength. biggest out any sample 2.26 cm.

Flexural Behavior of Lightweight Concrete Beams Reinforced with GFRP Bars and Effects of the Added Micro and Macro Fiber
This study evaluated the effect of macro steel fiber (SF), micro glass fiber (GF) and micro polypropylene fiber (PF) in lightweight aggregate concrete, (LWAC) beams reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars. Firstly, concrete mixtures with different volume fractions of GF, PF and SF were tested up to compressive strength, then determine the optimum fiber content GF, PF and SF a...
متن کاملFlexural Behavior of GFRP Tubes Filled with Magnetically Driven Concrete
Experimental investigation of GFRP (glass fiber reinforced polymer) tubes that were filled with magnetically driven concrete was carried out to study the flexural behavior of specimens under bending. Specimens having different cross section and lengths were tested. The test specimens were fabricated by filling magnetically driven concrete into the GFRP tubes and the concrete was vibrated using ...

The pseudo strain-hardening behavior of fiber reinforced engineered cementitious composites (ECC) is a desirable characteristic for it to act as a substitute for concrete to suppress brittle failure. The use of ECC in the industry is, however, limited by its high cost. To achieve higher cost/performance ratio, ECC can be strategically applied in parts of a structure that is under relatively hig...

The Material Deposition Method (MDM) is enjoying increasing attention as an additive method to create concrete mortar structures characterised by a high degree of form-freedom, a lack of geometrical repetition, and automated construction. Several small-scale structures have been realised around the world, or are under preparation. However, the nature of this construction method is unsuitable fo...
